Building a Supportive Collective
MCWI Large Gathering
The Thriving Children: Sharing Diverse Perspectives through Research, Story, and Art event served as a kick-off to the Mayerson ChildWell-being Initiative (MCWI). MCWI will bring children, youth, families, community partners, institutional partners, and academics together to co-create a shared framework and measures set to accelerate our collective knowledge of and action for child thriving.
Event Objectives:
Build our community by gathering and sharing our collective experience through art, performance, and speech.
Collect diverse perspectives of child and youth well-being by combining academic research with stories and performance.
Synthesize the learning as a first step of a community-led design process through which we develop a shared model to describe and measure child and youth well-being in our community.
